My Choice
I go to a university which activism is its trademark. I enter here with my childish acts and knowledge of my high school years. Having a curious mind I get a course complicated enough to change my world and say “I want to change the world”. My training-ground offers a lot of ideas and ways for change; like a market, you can choose what road, what ideology and what actions you will take. For freshmen students you will be amazed, be frightened or be excited with the shouts of thoughts you’ve been hearing left and right, but what is left is for you to decide; will you answer the call or close your ears in the four corners of the room.
My freshmen professor once said it’s good to be an activist. An activist who knows what’s happening around her, and didn’t just absorb it but react and do rational actions on it. We’re so lucky that we are immersed on the real life…
I’m proud to be part of this organization, the “Kabataang Liberal ng Pilipinas”.
I learn knowledge not only on the world which I am concerned but also lessons about life. I does not only gain new ideas but also gain friends who are worth keeping… and I know I made the best choice.
